Position Overview
The Manager Quality and Food Safety at Coca-Cola in Dubai serves as a key integrator across Quality, Safety, and Environment functions for the Middle East region. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of QSE management systems through strong compliance, structured implementation, performance monitoring, trend analysis, and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams and bottling partners, this role protects consumers, enables safe operations, advances sustainability goals, and supports the development and execution of integrated QSE strategies across the entire Middle East geography.

Key Responsibilities
KORE Quality System Implementation
- Drive the implementation of the Coca-Cola Quality System (KORE) and related Safety and Environmental requirements across the Middle East geography
- Ensure products, packages, ingredients, services, and production facilities comply with company standards and local regulations
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and instructions required for plants to produce compliant, high-quality products
- Support development and deployment of new QSE system applications and identify technical investment needs
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor the effectiveness of Quality, Food Safety, and Safety programs through end-to-end system assessments and site reviews
- Ensure corrective actions and continuous improvement plans are developed, implemented, and sustained across all bottling plants
- Monitor and support product, package, and operational QSE performance in the market including quality trends and customer feedback
- Track market surveys and ensure timely corrective actions are executed with bottlers across the region
Technical QSE Expertise & Bottler Support
- Provide technical QSE expertise to bottling partners, co-packers, and stakeholders for new plants, processes, and line investments
- Lead validation and authorization of new or modified systems and equipment across the Middle East region
- Guide beverage plants on company sampling, testing, and monitoring requirements for quality, food safety, and environmental compliance
- Facilitate coordination with internal and third-party laboratories for testing and analysis
Cross-Functional Collaboration & New Product Support
- Provide QSE input to Marketing, Commercialization, R&D, and Bottler Operations for new product and package launches
- Support operational troubleshooting related to product, process, quality, or safety risks
- Conduct regular plant and operational visits to support QSE system execution and manufacturing processes
- Support and conduct assessments and audits of fountain customers for beverage quality and food safety conformance
Capability Building & Training
- Support capability building by training frontline leaders on KORE, Quality, Food Safety, and Safety fundamentals
- Conduct laboratory practice and manufacturing process training across bottling plant teams
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and quality excellence aligned with Coca-Cola’s growth mindset values
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, or a closely related scientific field is required
- Advanced qualifications or certifications in Food Safety, Quality Management Systems, or Environmental Science are a strong advantage
Experience Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive work experience in quality systems management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the consumer goods industry
- Demonstrated experience in Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, food regulatory compliance, and microbiology applications
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in bottling operations, beverage production technology, and supplier processes
- Previous experience working with customer teams and conducting formal quality audits is preferred
Core Competencies & Skills
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to interpret complex quality systems data
- Demonstrated ability to persuade and influence both internally and externally across functions and organizations
- Ability to understand operational and regulatory risks and develop effective mitigation plans
- Arabic language proficiency is required for effective regional stakeholder communication
