Position Overview
The Offshore Operation Support Coordinator executes and controls all offshore operations material logistics documentation readiness for national and international NMDC Energy projects, ensuring full compliance with each country-based government customs requirements and regulations, supported by proper documentation in a professional manner.
Why This Role Matters: As Offshore Operation Support Coordinator, you ensure offshore project materials are transported, cleared, and delivered in full compliance with country-specific customs regulations, prepare, review, and submit customs documentation for import, export, and re-export across KSA and other countries, maintain accuracy of commercial invoices, HS code classifications, and SASO/SABER documentation, act as the focal point between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies across multiple countries, track temporary imported materials and prevent customs penalties through timely re-export file closure, and prepare regular status reports identifying customs risks and proposing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
Customs Documentation & Compliance
- Execute and control all offshore operations material logistics documentation readiness
- Prepare, review, and submit customs-related documentation for import, export, and re-export of offshore materials
- Ensure accuracy of commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and HS code classifications
Regulatory Monitoring & Coordination
- Ensure logistics activities comply with Saudi Customs laws, ZATCA, and other countries’ regulations
- Monitor changes in customs regulations and communicate impacts to project and logistics teams
- Coordinate inspections and resolve customs queries, holds, or discrepancies efficiently
Focal Point & Clearance Follow-Up
- Act as the focal point between NMDC Energy, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies
- Follow up on customs clearance status and ensure prompt release of shipments
Temporary Import & Re-Export Control
- Track temporary imported materials and ensure compliance with re-export timelines
- Prepare and process re-export documentation for offshore equipment, tools, and project materials
- Prevent customs penalties by ensuring timely closure of temporary import files
Reporting & Records Management
- Maintain accurate logistics and customs records for audits and project reviews
- Prepare regular status reports on shipments, customs clearance, and documentation issues
- Ensure proper handover and archiving of documents at project close-out
Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma in a related field, or equivalent

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in similar roles and industries
