Position Overview
This is a key role in modern HR. You make sure payroll is legally compliant, on time and efficient, and you are responsible for reporting and certificates. You take on part of the payroll yourself, including complex individual cases, and you lead a team of two through coaching and development. You also act as key user for the payroll and time management systems and look after how those systems and their interfaces develop.

Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
- Make sure payroll is legally compliant, on time and efficient, and take responsibility for reporting and certificates
- Handle parts of payroll and complex individual cases yourself, and bring your expertise into daily work and quality assurance
- Support recurring payroll tax and social security audits and make sure legal requirements are met
Leadership & Partners
- Lead a team of two as line manager, with coaching and development support
- Optimize and coordinate the cooperation with the external provider ADP, including defining and keeping service standards
- Work closely with HR, Finance and external partners, and contribute to projects across regions
Systems & Process Improvement
- Act as key user for the payroll and time management systems and guide the development of the system landscape and its interfaces
- Spot efficiency potential in existing processes and help the department introduce new ways of working
Qualifications & Profile — What You Bring
Essential Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a degree in business administration or HR, ideally with further HR training
- Several years of solid experience in payroll and a good grasp of the basic process structures
- Knowledge of labor, tax and social security law, plus a strong affinity for systems and processes
- A structured, independent way of working, with a strong service mindset and the ability to assert yourself
- Strong communication skills, empathy and the ability to convince people
- Confident use of MS Office and ease with working on data
Nice to Have
- First leadership experience, or experience guiding and steering employees professionally
- Knowledge of Workday or other common HR systems
