Position Overview
The Production Supervisor at Al Ain Mills in Sharjah is a full-time, on-site manufacturing leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day production operations of the flour milling facility — ensuring that production targets are achieved, quality standards are consistently maintained, production teams are effectively managed and daily flour milling operations run safely, efficiently and in accordance with Al Ain Mills’ production standards and procedures. This is a practical, hands-on manufacturing leadership role for an experienced production professional with a strong flour milling background and proven UAE manufacturing experience — requiring technical flour milling knowledge, production team management capability and a commitment to operational excellence in a demanding food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
Flour Milling Production Management & Target Achievement
- Oversee and manage the full daily production operations of Al Ain Mills’ Sharjah flour milling facility — supervising the flour milling process from grain intake through milling, sifting and flour packaging to ensure smooth, efficient and uninterrupted production across all assigned shifts and production lines.
- Achieve production targets in terms of volume, throughput and production efficiency — monitoring daily output against targets, identifying bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies and implementing practical corrective measures that restore and sustain target production performance across the flour milling operation.
- Apply strong technical knowledge of flour milling processes — including wheat cleaning, tempering, milling, extraction rates, sifting and packaging — to support troubleshooting of milling equipment issues, optimize production settings and ensure consistent, specification-compliant flour output across all production runs.
Quality Standards Maintenance
- Maintain flour quality standards across all production outputs — monitoring in-process quality indicators, ensuring finished flour products meet the quality specifications required by Al Ain Mills’ customers and conducting regular quality checks at critical points in the milling process to prevent non-conforming product from leaving the facility.
- Report quality deviations and production non-conformances promptly — working collaboratively with quality and management teams to investigate causes, implement corrective actions and restore production compliance to established standards within the shortest possible timeframe.
Production Team Supervision & Daily Operations
- Manage and supervise the production team on a daily basis — assigning tasks, coordinating shift activities, monitoring individual and team performance and providing practical, hands-on leadership that keeps the flour milling team productive, motivated and operating safely throughout each working shift.
- Provide guidance, instruction and on-the-job coaching to production operators and milling assistants — ensuring all team members understand and apply the correct flour milling procedures, safety practices and quality standards that Al Ain Mills’ production operations require.
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive manufacturing environment — enforcing workplace safety procedures, GMP standards and housekeeping requirements across all production areas of the Sharjah flour milling facility throughout every shift.

- UAE manufacturing experience is mandatory — candidates without verified UAE experience working in a manufacturing environment will not be considered for this production supervisor role at Al Ain Mills Sharjah.
- Flour mill experience is required — prior experience specifically within a flour milling facility is a firm requirement. General food manufacturing experience without flour milling exposure is insufficient for this specialized role.
