 Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance Management
- Supervise and ensure the consistent implementation and maintenance of quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards across all Gulfa Water UAE operations and production activities.
- Monitor and evaluate quality performance across production, packaging, and dispatch stages — identifying deviations from standards and implementing corrective actions promptly and effectively.
- Develop and improve quality assurance systems and documentation — ensuring all QA processes are clearly defined, consistently followed, and audit-ready at all times.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems — bringing a proactive, improvement-oriented mindset to every aspect of Gulfa’s quality assurance operations.
Food Safety & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure strict compliance with all applicable UAE food safety regulations and industry food safety standards across Gulfa’s mineral water production and processing operations.
- Apply strong knowledge of quality control and food safety standards — including HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and UAE regulatory requirements — to maintain the highest product safety and quality levels.
- Support internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and certification activities — preparing all necessary documentation and ensuring operational readiness for compliance reviews.
Team Leadership & Quality Culture
- Lead, supervise, and develop the quality assurance team — building a skilled, motivated, and quality-focused team capable of maintaining Gulfa’s exceptional product standards.
- Foster a strong culture of quality excellence across the organization — ensuring that quality ownership is embedded across production, operations, and every customer-facing touchpoint.
- Provide quality guidance, training, and coaching to team members and cross-functional staff — building quality awareness and capability at every level of the Gulfa operation.
Product Excellence & Standards
- Ensure product excellence across all Gulfa mineral water products — maintaining the consistent quality, purity, and safety standards that have defined the Gulfa brand for over 50 years.
- Coordinate with production, supply chain, and operations teams to address quality-related issues proactively — ensuring products consistently meet Gulfa’s defined quality specifications before dispatch.
- Support the tracking and reporting of quality KPIs — providing management with clear, data-driven insights into quality performance, trends, and improvement opportunities across UAE operations.
 Requirements & What We Are Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance — a non-negotiable requirement; candidates without 5+ years of QA experience will not be shortlisted
- FMCG or Food & Beverage industry experience is mandatory — candidates with QA experience exclusively outside the F&B or FMCG sector will not be considered for this role
- Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience within a quality assurance function — ability to lead and develop QA teams in a production environment
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of quality control and food safety standards — including HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and UAE food safety regulatory requirements
- Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining QA systems in FMCG, beverage, water, or food production environments
- Familiarity with internal and external audit processes, non-conformity management, and corrective action systems
