Position Overview
This is not a desk-based QA role. You’ll be on the warehouse floor, working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams and acting as the quality gatekeeper for every product entering and leaving our facilities. This role is ideal for a young professional at the beginning of their career — prior experience is helpful, but not mandatory, and full training will be provided.
Why This Role Matters: As QA & Inventory Control Officer, you physically inspect every incoming consignment and verify products, quantities, and certificates against documentation, act as the final check before dispatch, ensuring customer-specific labeling requirements are met, monitor inventory aging and enforce FIFO practices to keep stock moving efficiently, hold real authority to stop non-compliant dispatches, require relabeling, or quarantine damaged goods, record every discrepancy immediately and follow up until non-conformances are fully resolved, and work directly across Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Procurement, and Management — helping the team improve, not just checking the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound — Check Before Storage
- Inspect every incoming consignment physically
- Verify product, quantity, batch number, certificates, packing, and labels against documents
- Identify and report any damage, shortage, or discrepancy

- Stop and escalate any dispatch that does not meet required standards
Inventory Control — Keep Stock Moving

- Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
- Investigate stock that is not being picked or is aging, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
Quality & Non-Conformance
- Record every discrepancy, damage, or labeling issue immediately in the system
- Maintain photographic evidence where required
- Follow up on non-conformances until fully resolved and closed
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience; prior experience is helpful but not mandatory, as full training will be provided
Essential Skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and disciplined
- Team player with good communication skills
- Energetic and proactive with a problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working physically on the warehouse floor
- Strong documentation discipline
- Good spoken and written English
- Valid driver’s license (mandatory)
Advantageous Experience
- Exposure to warehouse operations, ERP/inventory systems, chemical packaging, drums, IBCs, pails, bags, or loading operations
About the Opportunity
This QA & Inventory Control Officer role offers hands-on, floor-based experience acting as the quality gatekeeper for every product entering and leaving the facility. Success in this role looks like 100% inbound consignments inspected, zero incorrectly labeled products entering storage, and 100% follow-up of non-conformances through closure — ideal for someone who notices the small things, takes ownership, and wants to grow in logistics, quality, and inventory control.
Career Excellence: Build a genuine career in logistics, quality control, and inventory management with real decision-making authority and full training provided from day one.
