Quality Control Supervisor Jobs Dubai UAE 2026

A manufacturing company in Dubai is hiring a Quality Control Supervisor (listed as Senior Quality Control Operator) to carry out advanced laboratory testing and guide junior operators. You will support the QC Manager, review lab records and solve first-level problems. If you have a chemistry background and SAP experience, this QC job in Dubai could be the step up you have been waiting for.

About the Opportunity

Work Area: QC laboratory in a manufacturing environment

Focus: Testing raw materials, in-process materials and finished products

Reports To: QC Manager

Works With: Production, R&D, Maintenance and IT teams

Why Work in Dubai’s Manufacturing Sector?

Growing Industry: Dubai’s factories and free zones need skilled quality professionals

Tax-Free Salary: The UAE does not charge personal income tax on employment income

Career Growth: Strong senior operators can move toward QC manager roles

Position Overview

This is a hands-on laboratory role with real responsibility. You carry out priority and non-routine tests on your own, review worksheets and calculations prepared by QC operators, and train them on approved methods and equipment. When a result looks wrong, you contain the issue and escalate it quickly instead of letting it travel down the line.

You also help plan the day’s work. That means deciding which urgent samples go first, keeping the QC Manager updated, and making sure equipment, reagents and records are ready. It is a role for someone who likes precision and does not mind coaching others.

💡 Why This Role Matters: Reliable lab results protect product quality and customer trust. Your checks catch problems before a product ever leaves the plant.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Troubleshooting

  • Sample and test raw materials, in-process materials and finished products using approved methods
  • Run complex or high-priority tests independently, within your authorization limits
  • Handle first-level troubleshooting for tests, sample preparation and equipment, and escalate what you cannot solve

Review & Quality Escalation

  • Review worksheets, calculations and test records for completeness before they reach the QC Manager
  • Flag out-of-specification and out-of-trend results, deviations, equipment failures and data-integrity concerns
  • Stop an analysis if safety, sample identity or data integrity is in doubt, then document and escalate

Team Support & Improvement

  • Train and qualify QC operators on methods, sampling, equipment and documentation
  • Help allocate daily lab work and prioritize urgent samples
  • Check equipment calibration, reagents and housekeeping
  • Contribute to trend analysis, SOP updates and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in chemistry, industrial chemistry, materials science or similar
  • Solid QC laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Independent work on approved test methods, result interpretation and documentation
  • Proven ability to train and support less experienced staff
  • Basic SAP and MS Excel skills for data entry, searches and record checks

What a Typical Day Could Look Like

Your day likely starts with a quick check of equipment and the list of samples waiting for testing. You then take on the critical or non-routine analyses yourself, while operators handle routine work. Through the day you review their records, answer questions, and update the QC Manager on urgent items. Near the end, you make sure documentation is complete and any open issues are logged and escalated.

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Technical: advanced use of routine QC methods, raw data review and calibration checks
  • Digital: comfort with SAP and Excel, and the patience to help colleagues with everyday digital tasks
  • Behavioral: a coaching attitude, calm under pressure, and clear communication
  • Mindset: escalate early and solve problems practically

Career Path After This Role

This position sits between the lab bench and management. With strong results, you can grow into a QC Manager, quality assurance, or laboratory coordination role. Training junior staff well is one of the clearest ways to show you are ready for that next step.

Who Should Apply?

  • QC Lab Analysts: Ready to lead and coach others
  • Chemistry Graduates: With manufacturing lab experience
  • Quality Professionals: Looking to relocate to Dubai
