Position Overview
This Senior Dredge Master role involves planning and executing dredging operations, monitoring production and ensuring compliance with project specifications and environmental standards, supervising the dredge crew, overseeing maintenance checks to minimize downtime, reviewing work plans and adjusting dredging parameters, managing positioning and navigation, completing operational logs and reports, implementing safety and emergency response procedures, and interacting regularly with survey teams, port authorities and other stakeholders.

Dredging Operations
- Plan and execute dredging operations on marine construction and reclamation projects

- Manage positioning and navigation of the dredge
- Interpret hydrographic survey data and charts for dredging operations

- Implement safety procedures and emergency response measures

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Several years of experience in a senior dredging or marine operations role, preferably on large-scale infrastructure or reclamation projects
- Strong experience operating and supervising dredging vessels (e.g., cutter suction, trailing suction hopper) and associated marine equipment
Certification Requirements
- Relevant maritime or engineering qualification; a dredge master certificate or equivalent marine license is highly desirable
Essential Skills
- In-depth knowledge of dredging methods, production monitoring and optimization for different soil and site conditions
- Familiarity with marine navigation, positioning systems, hydrographic survey data and chart interpretation
- Proven ability to lead, train and coordinate a multicultural crew, with a focus on safety and clear communication
