Position Overview
The Senior Industry Tech Consultant (ITC) – F&B at Ecolab in Dubai is a full-time, customer-facing technical role serving as the application expert for Food & Beverage customers across the UAE — with a strong focus on brewery operations, cleaning and sanitation programs, CIP/COP systems, bottle washer optimization, membrane cleaning, and other hygiene-critical processes. You will partner with local sales engineers, conduct on-site technical assessments and hygiene audits, lead product trials, support MBR/QBR/ABR preparation, train sales and customer teams, and translate technical findings into clear customer value documentation — all while staying at the forefront of F&B trends, brewery processes, and cleaning technologies in the region.

Key Responsibilities
F&B Application Expertise & Customer Technical Support
- Act as the primary application expert for F&B customers in the UAE — with a strong focus on brewery operations, cleaning and sanitation programs, CIP/COP systems, bottle washer optimization, and membrane cleaning
- Connect Ecolab’s F&B application solutions, product portfolio, digital tools, and service programs to specific customer challenges including food safety, microbiological control, water use, energy efficiency, and total operating cost reduction
- Conduct on-site technical assessments, hygiene audits, CIP verifications, cleaning performance reviews, and troubleshooting activities — translating all findings into clear action plans and customer value documentation
- Support sales field teams during customer visits by explaining technical findings, demonstrating Ecolab program value, and positioning solutions relevant to brewery, beverage, dairy, and food processing operations
Technical Auditing, Trials & Optimization
- Partner with local sales engineers, CAM, BDM, and customer technical teams to audit production lines, cleaning objects, fillers, washers, tanks, heat exchangers, and packaging areas to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead product trials, application testing, and cleaning program optimization projects — ensuring all trial objectives, success criteria, operating parameters, safety requirements, and expected customer value are clearly defined upfront
- Support new technology introductions at F&B customer sites — managing the full technical introduction process from planning through execution and customer value documentation
- Use CRM and TVD tools to document all technical activities, improvement opportunities, trial outcomes, value delivered, customer commitments, and required follow-up actions
Training, Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
- Train sales teams, service teams, distributors, and customers on F&B applications, cleaning principles, brewery hygiene, sanitation fundamentals, and technical troubleshooting methodologies
- Support MBR, QBR, and ABR preparation for the sales team — contributing technical expertise and customer performance data to strategic business review processes
- Collaborate with marketing, R&D, supply chain, regulatory, and commercial teams to support program development, localization, launch readiness, and post-launch technical support activities
- Stay informed about F&B trends, brewery processes, cleaning technologies, microbiological control, sustainability requirements, competitor activity, and regional customer needs across the UAE
Customer Value Communication & CRM Management
- Communicate value to F&B customers by translating technical results — water savings, energy reductions, microbiological improvement, uptime gains — into clear, compelling business outcomes
- Take full ownership of Ecolab service tools and ensure they are used effectively to support application work across the UAE F&B customer base
- Proactively identify additional tools or resources needed to improve technical service delivery and customer satisfaction across the regional F&B portfolio
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications — Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- Knowledge of brewing processes, cleaning chemistry, sanitation principles, and microbiology — essential technical foundation for this F&B ITC role in Dubai
- Agile, self-driven, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a customer-facing technical role across multiple UAE and regional customer sites
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English — required for customer presentations, technical reporting, and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability and willingness to travel frequently — both domestically within the UAE and internationally across the region
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on F&B application experience in brewery, beverage, dairy, or food processing — with strong practical knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, CIP/COP, and hygiene-critical processes
- Proven ability to conduct technical audits, troubleshooting activities, product trials, and cleaning optimization projects at customer production sites
- Demonstrated ability to translate technical findings into quantified customer value — improvements in food safety, microbiological control, production uptime, water use, energy, chemical use, and total operating cost
