Position Overview
This Goods Flow Group Leader role involves securing correct usage of short-term store capacity for efficient logistics, ensuring compliance with the IKEA code of conduct and health, safety and environmental regulations, contributing input to the logistics action plan, securing effective daily goods flow operations for a superior customer shopping experience, supporting sustainability goals, promoting IKEA values and culture, and identifying, recruiting and developing talent within the goods flow team.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Capacity Management
- Work closely with the Goods Flow team to secure correct usage of short-term store capacity
- Balance inbound and outbound volume by considering space, equipment and people
Compliance & Standards
- Ensure the goods flow team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct and local legislation
- Contribute relevant input to the logistics action plan and ensure implementation
Operational Excellence
- Secure effective, qualitative and efficient daily goods flow operations
- Contribute to IKEA Value chain tasks and goals per the Global Service Protocol
- Support positioning the IKEA store as a responsible partner in lowering environmental impact
Team Leadership & Culture
- Live and promote IKEA values, nurturing a culture that inspires extraordinary achievements

Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements
- 3 years of experience in goods flow and supply chain management
- Knowledge of retail operations
- Experience managing a fast-paced environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Essential Skills
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office and Navision
- Strong communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus
- Capability to manage high-volume retail operations effectively
- Ability to identify and nurture talent within the team
