Position Overview
This Warehouse Material Operator Dispatch role at ABB in Sasbach involves performing storage and retrieval operations in manual and automated storage systems, professional order picking of goods according to customer-specific requirements, operating automated repackaging systems and conveyor belt machines, ensuring goods are securely packaged for transport, loading pallets for national and international freight, and preparing all necessary shipping documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Storage & Retrieval Operations
- Performing storage and retrieval operations in manual and automated storage systems
- Maintaining accuracy and organization in warehouse storage locations
Order Picking & Fulfillment
- Professional order picking of goods from manual and automated storage systems
- Taking into account customer-specific requirements during picking processes
- Ensuring order accuracy before packaging and dispatch
Automated Systems & Packaging
- Operation of the automated repackaging system and conveyor belt machines
- Ensuring goods are packaged securely for safe transport and loading
Shipment & Dispatch Coordination
- Loading pallets ready for shipment into provided transport containers
- Supporting dispatch for national and international freight traffic
- Preparation of necessary accompanying shipment documents
Qualifications & Requirements
Technical & Software Requirements
- Willingness to use software and IT systems to support order picking processes
Work Requirements
- Willingness to work in shifts
- High safety awareness and compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
Essential Skills
- Ability to communicate easily in German and follow instructions
- Willingness to obtain a forklift operator’s license is an advantage
