Key Responsibilities
Warehousing & Inventory Management
- Oversee all warehousing and inventory movements across the UAE region and beyond
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory records across all warehouse locations and SKUs
- Investigate inventory discrepancies promptly, identifying root causes and implementing corrections
- Implement stock control procedures ensuring inventory accuracy and minimizing losses
Domestic & International Shipment Management
- Manage both domestic and international shipment planning, execution, and tracking operations
- Monitor all active shipments ensuring on-time delivery performance targets are consistently met
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping carriers, and customs brokers for seamless operations
- Resolve shipment exceptions, delays, and disruptions proactively to minimize supply chain impact
Customs Clearance & Trade Compliance
- Handle all customs clearance processes ensuring full compliance with UAE and international regulations
- Ensure complete and accurate preparation of import and export documentation for all shipments
- Liaise with customs authorities and brokers maintaining compliant trade operations at all times
- Stay current with evolving UAE customs regulations, tariff changes, and compliance requirements
Logistics Performance Analysis & KPI Management
- Analyze logistics performance data including costs, lead times, and delivery performance metrics
- Develop and track supply chain KPIs providing regular management reports and actionable insights
- Identify cost optimization opportunities across transportation, warehousing, and customs operations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supply chain efficiency and service quality
Stakeholder Coordination & Relationship Management
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and logistics service providers
- Coordinate with internal departments including procurement, sales, and finance for aligned operations
- Communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced multicultural UAE environment
- Negotiate service levels and rates with logistics partners to optimize cost and performance outcomes
Continuous Improvement & Supply Chain Development
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse and logistics operation areas
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions enhancing operational speed and accuracy
- Support digital transformation and ERP system optimization projects within logistics function
- Develop standard operating procedures ensuring consistency and quality across warehouse operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding
- Proven track record managing end-to-end logistics operations in a supervisory or management capacity
- Hands-on experience with international shipping, customs processes, and trade documentation
- Background managing multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and multicultural logistics environment
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of international shipping procedures, customs clearance, and trade compliance
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics for warehouse management
- Proficiency in logistics KPI tracking, performance analysis, and data-driven reporting
- Understanding of freight forwarding operations, Incoterms, and international trade documentation
Essential Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license — mandatory requirement for this position in Dubai
- Own car required to support mobility across logistics sites and stakeholder locations in UAE
