Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Shipment Management
- Manage all inbound and outbound logistics for retail and project-based shipments — locally within UAE and internationally
- Coordinate air, sea, and land freight arrangements — reviewing shipping costs and evaluating the most cost-effective routing options
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with UAE regulatory requirements, customs standards, and Caspaiou’s internal quality standards
- Oversee the complete shipping documentation process — including customs clearance, shipment tracking, and final delivery arrangements
Supplier, Freight Forwarder & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate proactively with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
- Monitor shipment progress continuously — identifying and resolving delays before they impact project timelines or client commitments
- Communicate clear, accurate, and timely delivery updates to all relevant internal stakeholders across the business
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align logistics schedules with high-end project requirements
Customs Clearance & Documentation
- Oversee and manage all shipping documentation — bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
- Coordinate UAE customs clearance for all international inbound shipments — ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely release
- Manage shipping-related insurance claims in coordination with the relevant internal teams and external insurance providers
- Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable shipment records for all retail and project-based logistics activities
Team Supervision & Reporting
- Supervise and guide the Logistics Administrator in daily operational and administrative logistics tasks and responsibilities
- Coordinate with the Warehouse Team on incoming shipments, damaged goods identification, and inventory discrepancy resolution
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive weekly logistics status reports for management and relevant project stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes, documentation accuracy, and cross-team coordination effectiveness
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field
