Position Overview
This Agronomy Location Outside Lead role works closely with the location manager to lead the operations team, applying strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of operating a variety of equipment. You will schedule, lead, and perform preventative maintenance projects, schedule product delivery and oversee product application, assist with agronomy product delivery, maintain shop tools and facilities, and support recruiting and training of operational personnel.

Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Maintenance Leadership
- Schedule, lead, and perform preventative maintenance projects with team members
- Maintain shop tools and facilities
- Effectively operate all equipment at the facility
Product Delivery & Application
- Schedule product delivery and oversee product application
- Assist with application and delivery of agronomy products
Team Recruiting & Training
- Assist with the recruiting of operational personnel
- Assist with the training of team members
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential Skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to obtain a Class A CDL with all required endorsements
- Excellent business skills with experience in budgeting and inventory
- Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively operate all equipment at the facility
- Excellent work ethic with ability to work hours beyond considered normal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
Preferred Experience
- Experience or strong understanding of Ag Retail is preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing along with a background check
