Position Overview
This Rental Asset Operations Manager role involves rental asset planning, allocation, booking, and utilization across all rental categories, managing inbound and outbound operations including preparation, dispatch, returns, and system updates. You will coordinate manpower and vehicle bookings, track asset movement through RFID and rental management systems, coordinate maintenance and repair flow, and ensure SLA/KPI targets and departmental objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Execution & Coordination
- Rental asset planning, allocation, booking, and utilization across all rental categories
- Manage inbound and outbound rental asset operations including preparation, dispatch, returns, and inspection
- Coordinate manpower provisioning, vehicle booking, and shipment documentation
- Track asset movement through rental management systems and RFID systems
- Coordinate maintenance requirements, repair flow, and asset readiness
Performance Monitoring & Control
- Monitor rental asset utilization efficiency and inventory record accuracy
- Oversee warehouse operational efficiency, including preparation, handling, and dispatch
- Monitor department operational costs and quality of service delivery
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Manage purchase requests, timesheets, manpower allocation, and derig/return reports
- Ensure compliance with tracking, scanning, and asset identification procedures
- Drive RFID implementation, process automation, and operational system integration
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in rental operations, warehouse operations, supply chain, or asset management roles
- Experience in events, exhibitions, logistics, rental, or similarly complex operational environments strongly preferred
Essential Skills
- Rental Asset Management, Warehouse Operations Management, and ERP & Operational Systems Management
- RFID & Tracking Systems, Inventory Control, and Asset Traceability
- Leadership and team management, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
