Position Overview
This Reach Stacker Operator role involves operating the Reach Stacker to move materials and containers around the storage yard, terminal, or similar location, positioning the equipment under, over, or around loaded or empty containers for transport. Key Responsibilities
Container Loading & Movement
- Operate Reach Stacker to move materials/containers around the storage yard, terminal, or similar location
- Position Reach Stacker under, over, or around loaded or empty containers for transport
- Manually load or unload materials or containers with lifting devices
- Load and unload empty or full containers with safety precautions
Equipment Maintenance
- Perform routine maintenance on the reach stacker, including cleaning, lubricating, and battery recharging
- Fuel or replace liquefied gas tank as needed
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure containers are handled in the proper method
- Follow safety guidelines while operating the reach stacker to load and unload containers
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent
Certification Requirements
- Valid Operator’s license
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating lifting devices
- 2+ years of work experience with Heavy Equipment
- 2+ years of work experience with Terminal Operations
