Position Overview
This Glass Factory Supervisor / Glass Cutting Technician role involves overseeing daily glass factory operations, supervising production staff, and measuring, marking, cutting, and processing glass according to drawings and specifications. You will operate and monitor cutting, grinding, drilling, and edging equipment, inspect raw glass and finished products for defects, maintain accurate production records, and train staff on glass handling and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities
Production Supervision & Glass Cutting
- Oversee daily glass factory and production operations for smooth, efficient workflow
- Supervise production staff and coordinate daily work assignments, schedules, and targets
- Measure, mark, cut, and process glass according to drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
- Operate and monitor glass cutting, grinding, drilling, edging, and other processing equipment
Quality Control & Equipment Maintenance
- Inspect raw glass and finished products for dimensions, cracks, scratches, chips, and defects
- Set up and adjust glass cutting and processing machines according to production requirements
- Identify and report equipment faults, material defects, and production issues
- Perform basic cleaning, maintenance, and adjustments of glass processing equipment
Documentation, Training & Coordination
- Maintain accurate production records, cutting lists, and quality inspection reports
- Coordinate with sales, design, warehouse, installation, and logistics departments
- Train and guide staff on glass handling, machine operation, and workplace safety

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a Glass Cutting Technician, Glass Factory Supervisor, Glass Processing Operator, or similar role
- Experience in glass manufacturing, processing, construction materials, or glazing is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Strong knowledge of glass cutting, measurement, handling, edging, drilling, and processing techniques
