Position Overview
This role involves taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and attending to customer needs while maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and strong attention to detail.
Why This Role Matters:Â As Service Crew, you greet and welcome customers in a warm and friendly manner upon arrival, present menus and provide detailed information about dishes and beverages, take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system, check dishes and beverages for quality, accuracy, and presentation before serving, check in with customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly, prepare and deliver checks, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately, and collaborate with the service team to enhance the overall customer journey through feedback and suggestions.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Welcome & Menu Guidance
- Greet and welcome customers in a warm and friendly manner upon arrival
- Present menus and assist customers in making menu selections
Order Taking & Quality Checks
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
- Check dishes and beverages for quality, accuracy, and presentation before serving
Guest Care & Feedback
- Check in with customers during their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with the service team to gather customer feedback and suggestions
Payment Processing & Facility Upkeep
- Prepare and deliver checks, process payments, and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area and assist with opening/closing duties
 Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer service role is preferred
Essential Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including ingredients and preparation methods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays
- Basic math skills for handling payments and giving change
