Position Overview
This Bartender role goes beyond the bar itself, taking ownership of guest service more broadly. You will use your knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly, build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate guest needs, and combine passion for guest service with an eye for detail — from cash handling to drink quality.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Bar Ownership
- Build a memorable and unique guest experience beyond drink preparation
- Stay on the lookout for new trends, micro-local offerings, and evolving guest needs
- Take ownership of guest service more broadly, doing what needs to be done
Bar Operations & Relationship Building
- Use knowledge and expertise to make the bar look and function flawlessly
- Build relationships across the hotel and community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs
Standards, Safety & Professionalism
- Maintain attention to detail across cash handling, guest information, and drink quality
- Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, professional uniform and personal appearance
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Experience Requirements
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping
