Position Overview
This AI Engineer role designs, builds, and deploys machine learning models, GenAI services, and AI-powered applications in production environments. You will develop agentic workflows and orchestration solutions integrated into banking processes, build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, vector search capabilities, and grounding services, create and maintain evaluation frameworks and behavioural regression testing, collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify high-value AI use cases, and apply modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and observability.

Key Responsibilities
Model & GenAI Service Development
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models, GenAI services, and AI-powered applications in production
- Develop agentic workflows, orchestration solutions, and AI services integrated into banking processes
RAG & Retrieval Infrastructure
- Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, vector search capabilities, and grounding services
Evaluation & Monitoring
- Create and maintain evaluation frameworks, behavioural regression testing, and monitoring processes for AI systems
Collaboration & Engineering Practices
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and deliver high-value AI use cases
- Apply modern software engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, observability, and AI-assisted development
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and deploying AI, machine learning, or GenAI solutions in production
- Proven experience delivering LLM, RAG, or agentic AI applications beyond proof-of-concept stage
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with cloud AI/ML platforms such as Databricks, Azure, AWS, and MLflow
- Hands-on experience with Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices
- Experience building AI evaluation frameworks, monitoring solutions, and production-grade observability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within banking, fintech, or another highly regulated environment
