Position Overview
As an Outlet Cashier, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of guest billing and payment transactions across Food & Beverage outlets and bars. You will safeguard hotel assets, maintain compliance with financial procedures, and ensure every transaction is processed with accuracy and professionalism.
Why This Role Matters: As Outlet Cashier, you process guest bills, payments, and transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system, safeguard cash floats, payment devices, and other financial instruments in accordance with hotel procedures, verify and process credit card transactions, room charges, discounts, promotions, and vouchers with proper authorization, reconcile cash, card, and room charge transactions and prepare end-of-shift reports, support internal controls and house fund audits to ensure compliance with financial policies, and work closely with Finance, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting, helping support both operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Billing & Payment Processing
- Process guest bills, payments, and transactions accurately and efficiently through the POS system
- Verify and process credit card transactions, room charges, discounts, promotions, and vouchers
Asset Safeguarding
- Safeguard cash floats, payment devices, and other financial instruments in accordance with hotel procedures
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Reconcile cash, card, and room charge transactions and prepare end-of-shift reports
- Support internal controls and house fund audits to ensure compliance with financial policies
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Front Office, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Experience handling cashiering, billing, or financial transactions within hospitality or a customer-facing environment
Essential Skills
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong sense of accountability
- Comfortable working with POS systems, payment terminals, and financial reporting tools
- Strong numerical skills, able to reconcile transactions confidently and efficiently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information
- Fluent communication in English; additional language skills are an advantage
