Position Overview
This Couture Fashion Designer role at Hazar in Dubai focuses on conceptualizing and developing custom-made bridal gowns, from initial sketches and fabric selection to overseeing fittings and final production, ensuring every design reflects the bride’s individuality and meets the highest standards of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities
Concept Development & Design Creation
- Actively participate in new concept development for bridal collections
- Create and present design sketches and mini mannequins per collection themes
- Create new and progressive designs that comply with the latest trends
- Develop new sample options for client and collection needs
Dress Development & Production Oversight
- Prepare and organize required materials and samples for each dress
- Oversee dress development from start to finish
- Ensure high quality and standards are met at all production stages
- Continually monitor schedules to ensure timely delivery
Team Leadership & Craftsmanship
- Manage a dedicated team of hand embroiderers, machine embroiderers, and tailors
- Coordinate closely with the master cutter and embroidery teams
- Ensure flawless execution reflecting each bride’s individuality
- Maintain rigorous quality control throughout the design and production process
Trend Research & Industry Engagement
- Maintain continual awareness of current fashion trends and developments
- Research and attend fashion events to stay ahead of bridal trends

- Degree in Fashion Design
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in a high-end haute couture bridal company
Technical Skills
