Position Overview
As an Assistant Shipping Executive, you will work closely with the operations team on day-to-day vessel handling. Your job is to help services finish on time, record every activity correctly, and pass closed job files to invoicing without delay. Accuracy, good manners and a proactive attitude matter as much as technical knowledge.

 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with operational matters in vessel handling for timely, professional service completion
- Create service records in the operational system so all services are recorded for invoicing
- Ensure supplier invoices are received in the invoice management system and liaise with suppliers
- Support the operations team during vessel visits and attendance when required
- Assist with customer queries and requirements on services rendered
- Pass operationally closed job files to invoicing promptly
- Renew company-provided Government IDs on time
- Ensure availability and proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Minimum graduate with a university degree or equivalent
- Knowledge: Local location and traffic rules; port and customs rules and regulations
- Personality: Proactive, well-dressed and well-mannered
- Language: Written and spoken English
- Computer Skills: Good knowledge of computer and phone usage
- Experience: 1+ year in a similar field; freshers can also be considered
