Position Overview

The Cannabis Post Harvest Team Member at VIBE Cannabis in St. Louis works directly with the Cultivation Team across a variety of post harvest production tasks — including drying plants, hand and machine trimming, weighing and sorting buds, maintaining cure tubes, packaging and labelling finished flower, and preparing packaged goods for sale and distribution. The role also involves cleaning all equipment and work areas, maintaining personal cleanliness and PPE throughout all production activities, maintaining accurate records and inventories, and communicating directly with Team Supervisors to support overall production targets and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Drying, Trimming & Bud Processing

  • Dry harvested cannabis plants correctly — maintaining proper drying conditions to protect terpene profiles, moisture levels, and product quality
  • Perform hand trimming of cannabis plants with precision and care — ensuring clean, well-manicured buds that meet VIBE’s quality standards
  • Operate machine trimming equipment as required — maintaining machine settings and product flow to meet daily production targets
  • Sort buds by size, quality, and grade — ensuring the right product reaches the right packaging category for patient and customer distribution

Weighing, Curing & Inventory Management

  • Weigh cannabis plants and finished products accurately using calibrated scales — maintaining precise records of all weights and batch data
  • Maintain cure tubes in accordance with established procedures — monitoring and adjusting curing conditions to achieve optimal product quality
  • Maintain accurate records, inventories, and data as required by VIBE’s operational and Missouri state compliance requirements
  • Report any discrepancies, irregularities, or out-of-specification findings to Team Supervisors promptly and accurately

Packaging, Labelling & Distribution Preparation

  • Package finished cannabis flower in accordance with approved packaging procedures and Missouri cannabis regulatory requirements
  • Apply product labels accurately — ensuring all required information, compliance data, and batch identifiers are correctly and legibly applied
  • Prepare all packaged goods for sale and distribution — organising finished product for handover to the distribution and sales team
  • Verify packaging accuracy and labelling compliance before product is prepared for customer and patient distribution

Equipment Cleaning, Sanitation & SOP Compliance

  • Clean all trimming equipment, packaging machinery, and production tools after use — maintaining equipment in optimal working condition
  • Clean all work areas thoroughly — including mopping and sweeping floors to maintain a hygienic, organised, and compliant production environment
  • Maintain personal cleanliness and wear required PPE throughout all stages of the cultivation and post harvest process
  • Understand and consistently adhere to compliance regulations and established SOPs for all specialised production areas

Team Communication & Agricultural Best Practices

  • Communicate directly with Team Supervisors and Managers — supporting other areas of the operation when daily primary tasks are complete
  • Maintain best agricultural practices throughout all post harvest activities — protecting plant quality and product integrity at every stage

Qualifications & Requirements

Required Qualifications
