In Abu Dhabi’s growing industrial, construction, energy, and services sectors, an experienced QA manager with ISO 9001, CAPA, audit leadership, and continuous improvement expertise has exceptional career growth potential. This role is your opportunity to make a measurable, lasting impact.

Position Overview

As Quality Assurance Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE, you will provide strategic and operational quality leadership across the organisation — developing QA policies, managing the Quality Management System (QMS), overseeing inspection and testing, leading audit programs, managing CAPA, investigating non-conformances, evaluating supplier quality, and promoting a company-wide culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to identify quality risks, drive improvement, and ensure that all products and services consistently meet customer requirements, industry standards, and regulatory obligations. This mid-to-senior level role requires a quality professional who combines technical expertise with genuine people leadership and strategic business thinking.

Key Responsibilities

QMS Development & Quality Standards

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and QMS systems — ensuring consistent product and service quality across all business operations and departments.
  • Establish quality standards, performance objectives, and inspection criteria in full alignment with company requirements, ISO 9001, and applicable industry regulations and customer specifications.
  • Oversee quality control activities, product inspections, testing procedures, and process evaluations — ensuring all outputs meet approved quality benchmarks before reaching customers or end users.

Audits, CAPA & Non-Conformance Management

  • Lead internal quality audits and coordinate external audits — ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001, relevant industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations across all functions.
  • Investigate customer complaints, product defects, and non-conformances — conducting structured root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D, and implementing effective CAPA to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor quality performance indicators, identify recurring issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions — tracking effectiveness and ensuring sustainable resolution of quality problems.

Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis methodologies — reducing production waste, rework, defect rates, and process variability across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to proactively identify quality risks, resolve material defect issues, and improve operational processes and supplier quality performance.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities — preparing quality performance reports and presenting findings, risks, and recommendations clearly to senior management for informed decision-making.

Leadership, Training & Quality Culture

  • Lead, train, and mentor quality assurance personnel — developing technical capabilities, building team performance, and creating a high-accountability quality team culture that supports the organisation’s operational excellence goals.
  • Ensure that all employees follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and SOPs — embedding quality awareness and accountability at every level of the organisation.
  • Promote a company-wide culture of quality, continuous improvement, and compliance — communicating the importance of quality standards, engaging employees at all levels, and championing the QA function as a strategic business enabler.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Manager, or in a similar quality management leadership role with direct responsibility for QMS, audits, CAPA, and quality team management.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality assurance principles, and quality control procedures — with a thorough, hands-on understanding of how these operate in a real business environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards applicable to the organisation’s industry — including the ability to implement, maintain, and audit against these standards.
  • Experience conducting quality audits, managing non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) — with a track record of effective root cause analysis and sustainable problem resolution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills — able to translate quality performance data into meaningful insights and actionable improvement initiatives for management teams.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills — demonstrated ability to build and develop high-performing quality teams while influencing cross-functional partners.
