When a fryer line or packing machine stops, a food plant loses money by the minute. A food manufacturer is looking for a safety-conscious Mechanical Technician who can get machines running again and, better still, stop them failing in the first place. If you have spent years around ovens, conveyors and high-speed packers, this one is for you.

You will protect the mechanical integrity, reliability and efficiency of plant equipment. That covers packing machinery such as Ishida, Sandiacre, metal detectors and modular conveyor belts; processing equipment such as forming and breading machines, fryers, ovens and conveyors; and preparation equipment such as mixers, grinders, tumblers, DSI cutting machines and X-ray systems.

- Assist with installation, alignment and commissioning, and read mechanical drawings and OEM manuals
- Watch for abnormal vibration, noise or leaks
