Position Overview
This Senior Manager Quality Assurance & Commercialization role plays critical role ensuring all food products meet brand standards, regulatory requirements, and operational expectations across international food service supply chain. You will lead end-to-product commercialization from feasibility through market launch, oversee supplier compliance, conduct facility audits, validate supplier capability, manage food safety programs, and support continuous improvement initiatives driving quality, consistency, and cost efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Supplier Plant Compliance
- Oversee supplier and processor plant compliance for all product categories ensuring food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance
- Conduct routine and risk-based facility audits including GMP, GHP, HACCP, traceability, sanitation practices
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, monthly QA reports, complaint data, foreign material incidents, yield deviations
- Maintain approved supplier lists including suppliers in-process, probation, or under increased monitoring
- Validate and track Halal certification compliance ensuring suppliers maintain certification
- Conduct product evaluations (sensory, physical, microbiological, shelf-life) through internal and third-party laboratories
New Product & LTO Commercialization
- Lead full commercialization workflow for new products and Limited Time Offers ensuring market-ready execution
- Translate R&D concepts into commercially viable products by finalizing specifications, BOMs, quality parameters
- Conduct feasibility reviews with suppliers confirming production capability, raw material sourcing, scalability
- Lead pilot tests, first production runs, scale-up activities validating product performance and food safety compliance
- Develop commercialization documentation including specifications, technical data sheets, production guidelines
- Manage end-to-end timelines across R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Operations
Cross-Functional Leadership & Validation
- Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations ensuring products are commercially viable
- Attend production trials validating yields, sensory attributes, food safety parameters, spec adherence
- Conduct restaurant-level validation including cook-and-hold testing, equipment checks, operational execution
- Support Operations and Training teams developing product handling guides, cooking protocols, station job aids
- Lead post-launch reviews capturing learnings and driving continuous improvement
Education & Experience Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited international university
- Minimum 5 years direct experience in Food Science, Food Technology, or Business with technical food manufacturing experience
Specific Experience Requirements
- 2+ years work experience with Food Science
- 3+ years work experience with Procurement
- Experience in quality assurance and commercialization in food service industry
- Supplier management and facility audit experience
