 Position Overview

The Quality Control Manager in Dubai is a senior leadership role responsible for building and maintaining a world-class quality management function across all stages of food production and packaging. You will directly oversee facility inspections and internal audits, manage raw material and agricultural commodity inspections, enforce UAE food safety regulatory compliance, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure the facility is permanently audit-ready for internal and external review.

Key Responsibilities

QC Process Management & Production Oversight

  • Oversee and manage comprehensive quality control processes across all production and packaging stages — from raw input through to finished product release
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE food safety standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at every stage of production
  • Manage the inspection of raw materials and agricultural commodities to ensure quality is verified at the source before entering the production process
  • Maintain an up-to-date, well-organized quality documentation system that keeps the facility permanently audit-ready

Facility Inspections & Internal Audits

  • Conduct regular, structured facility inspections across all production areas to identify non-conformities and prevent quality deviations
  • Plan and execute internal audits against HACCP, ISO 22000, and UAE regulatory standards with full corrective action follow-through
  • Implement timely and effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in response to audit findings and quality incidents

Continuous Improvement & Quality Leadership

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality, operational safety, and production efficiency across the facility
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the quality control team to build a culture of quality ownership and regulatory awareness
  • Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to embed quality standards throughout the entire supply chain

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain a thorough working knowledge of current UAE food safety regulations and ensure all operations remain fully compliant
  • Update and standardize quality documentation including SOPs, checklists, audit records, and corrective action logs
  • Prepare detailed compliance reports and quality performance summaries for senior management and regulatory bodies as required

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • MSc or BSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or a closely related academic discipline
  • Postgraduate qualification in food safety management or quality systems is an advantage for senior applicants

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of proven, hands-on experience in Quality Control within the Food & Beverage industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in agricultural commodities inspection, raw material quality management, and food production QC
