  • Develop site set-up logistics plans in collaboration with the Project Manager to move labour, plant, and materials efficiently

  • Log all deliveries onto the client’s delivery tracker system accurately and in real time for full traceability
  • Receive deliveries from suppliers on-site, unloading materials safely into the storage compound and Crystal Air container
  • Maintain a complete and accurate logbook of all goods receiving transactions for audit and commercial reference purposes

Materials Handling & Site Distribution

  • Transport materials from the site storage compound to designated work areas for installation teams — typically 1–2km across active sites
  • Organize and distribute nitrogen packs to various areas of the building including roof-level access points as required
  • Establish off-project staging areas for intermediate deliveries when required to support project flow and sequencing
  • Ensure materials are positioned correctly and on time to prevent installation delays and support project programme targets

Supply Chain Coordination

  • Ensure the project maintains effective upstream and downstream supply chain involvement to support smooth construction delivery
  • Implement and operate effective systems to manage and control all supply chain inbound deliveries to the project site
  • Establish early and proactive engagement with the project planner, commercial procurement managers, and the project manager
  • Ensure the full construction team is clearly aware of all logistics activities in support of the active build programme

  • Coordinate with crane drivers and the construction manager to ensure all lifting operations are safely planned and executed
  • Manage a team of General Operatives and/or Material Coordinators to carry out materials handling requirements across projects
  • Attend all toolbox talks and engage actively with site safety briefings to maintain the highest standards of workplace safety

Issue Resolution & Technical Coordination

  • Anticipate and proactively resolve logistics issues using internal and external resources before they impact the build programme
  • Discuss technical requirements and material specifications with project teams to ensure correct materials are delivered and positioned
  • Support the commercial managers procuring works by providing accurate materials status updates and delivery confirmation records
  • Optimize asset positioning and sequencing to reduce unnecessary site movements and improve overall project logistics efficiency
