 Key Responsibilities

Supplier Ordering & Goods Receiving

  • Place orders with suppliers for truck workshop parts and materials in accordance with stock requirements and operational demand levels
  • Receive incoming deliveries and thoroughly check all delivery documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with order specifications
  • Process supplier complaints promptly and professionally — identifying discrepancies, initiating returns, and following up on resolutions to ensure timely stock accuracy
  • Maintain accurate incoming goods records to support smooth warehouse operations and reliable stock availability for the truck workshop team

Storage, Inventory & Parts Management

  • Independently store all delivered goods in the correct warehouse locations, ensuring accurate and organized stock placement throughout the warehouse facility
  • Sort parts and components into their respective workshop orders with precision, ensuring the right parts reach the right jobs at the right time without delay
  • Assist with scheduled inventory work and stock checks — counting, verifying, and reporting stock levels accurately to support ongoing inventory management
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized warehouse environment that supports efficient picking, storing, and dispatch operations across the truck workshop

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely and collaboratively with workshop technicians, team leaders, and procurement colleagues to ensure seamless parts availability and operational continuity
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels, incoming orders, and any delivery or storage issues that arise
  • Contribute actively to a positive, communicative team culture within the Zörbig warehouse and truck workshop environment
  • Support process improvements within the warehouse by contributing ideas and observations that enhance efficiency, organization, and accuracy

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

  • Experience in the automotive sector or in goods receiving, dispatch, or warehouse operations is ideally preferred but is not a strict requirement for this position
