This Junior Supply Chain Manager role is a permanent, direct-entry position based in Muggensturm, Germany. You will be embedded within L’Oréal’s Customer Supply Chain Management team, operating across one of the company’s key sales channels. Key Responsibilities

Network Management & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a proactive interface between marketing, sales, the Paris HQ, and logistics partners
  • Manage communication flows across multiple internal departments and external supply chain stakeholders
  • Ensure seamless alignment between commercial strategy and operational supply chain execution
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization

End-to-End Process Control

  • Take full responsibility for the order-to-cash process within your assigned sales channel
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent operational excellence and process discipline
  • Monitor and manage supply chain workflows from order creation through to final delivery
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to guarantee on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance

Data Analysis & KPI Management

  • Use performance dashboards to monitor key supply chain KPIs on a continuous basis
  • Derive actionable improvement measures from data insights and market signals
  • Continuously optimize supply chain performance using analytical tools including Excel and SAP
  • Present data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Inventory Planning & Demand Management

  • Control information flows to ensure optimal product availability across all channels
  • Support efficient demand planning processes to reduce overstock and stockout risk
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to maintain inventory accuracy and supply chain resilience
  • Monitor stock levels and replenishment cycles across Pharmacy, Consumer, Luxury, and Professional channels

Supply Chain Innovation Projects

  • Independently drive complex supply chain improvement and innovation projects forward
  • Shape the supply chain solutions of the future in one of the world’s most dynamic FMCG environments
  • Collaborate on digital transformation and process automation initiatives
  • Contribute to L’Oréal’s sustainability and responsible supply

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Specialization or focus in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is strongly preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Initial practical experience through internships or working student positions
  • Prior exposure to the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry is a significant advantage
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain tools, demand planning, or logistics operations preferred

Essential Skills

  • Fluent in German and English — both languages are required for this role
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SAP is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with attention to detail and precision
