The Supply Chain Operator at Accenture Hamburg works directly with top international aerospace clients to rebuild and optimize their global logistics chains from the ground up. You will manage overarching planning processes, synchronize cross-functional stakeholder goals, analyze existing supply chain processes, develop and implement improvement measures, handle customer and supplier communications on-site in Augsburg, and produce data-driven project reports that guide strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management & Overarching Planning
- Take full responsibility for overarching supply chain planning processes, ensuring all project stakeholders are aligned, informed, and actively contributing to shared objectives
- Synchronize the goals of all participants across client organizations, internal Accenture teams, and third-party supplier networks to ensure all requirements are consistently met
- Coordinate complex, multi-party planning cycles across international aerospace supply chains, maintaining clarity, accountability, and on-time delivery at every project stage
Supply Chain Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyze existing client supply chain processes in depth, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and structural weaknesses that limit performance and agility
- Develop new process measures and improvement strategies based on your findings, complementing and enhancing existing logistics frameworks with evidence-based solutions
- Lead the subsequent implementation of all approved process improvements, ensuring smooth adoption across client operations and measurable performance uplift
Customer & Supplier Coordination
- Manage direct on-site communication with aerospace clients in Augsburg, serving as the primary point of contact for all supply chain planning and operational queries
- Liaise with suppliers across the client’s supply chain network, verifying individual qualifications, assessing performance, and maintaining strong, productive working relationships
- Ensure seamless information flow between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to minimize disruption and maximize supply chain reliability
Data-Driven Reporting & Project Documentation
- Carefully document all project milestones, decisions, and outcomes throughout the supply chain engagement lifecycle to ensure full transparency and audit-readiness
- Combine project milestone data with sound quantitative analysis to produce meaningful, executive-level reports that demonstrate progress and guide strategic decisions
- Utilize business intelligence tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio to create clear, impactful data visualizations and supply chain performance dashboards
Digital Transformation & Demand Planning Support
- Support aerospace clients through their digital transformation journeys by rebuilding logistics chains with modern, data-driven methodologies and agile operating models
- Manage demand planning processes to ensure clients maintain the right inventory levels, supplier relationships, and logistics capacity to meet production and delivery commitments
- Apply Accenture’s #SynOps AI platform and intelligent operations frameworks to drive automation, efficiency, and scalability across client supply chain operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed university degree in Economics, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field — equivalent professional qualifications will also be considered
- Strong academic or applied grounding in supply chain management, operations research, or logistics systems is highly valued for this role
Technical Skills
- Solid familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools including Power BI, Tableau, or Google Looker Studio for supply chain reporting and performance analysis
- Comfortable working with flowcharts, risk analyses, and structured problem-solving methodologies applied to complex, multi-stakeholder supply chain environments
