Position Overview
This Supply Chain Specialist Aircraft position is embedded within the INTEC Group’s engineering and logistics services arm, working directly on-site for Airbus Defence & Space in Langenhagen, near Wunstorf, Lower Saxony. The specialist is the primary customer-facing point of contact for all material support requests — managing the full lifecycle of spare parts orders, repair services, and in-service support, while actively mitigating supply chain risk and coordinating warranty claims and material returns with precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Customer-Facing Material Support
- Act as the sole point of contact for customers regarding all material support requests and order fulfillment queries
- Obtain competitive prices from suppliers and prepare accurate, timely offers and price lists for customers
- Create and forward detailed commercial offers and pricing documentation to support sales and procurement decisions
End-to-End Order Management
- Execute complete order management for spare parts, repair services, and ongoing in-service support
- Coordinate the purchasing process from initial inquiry through delivery, monitoring timelines and resolving delays proactively
- Follow up diligently on all open orders to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with contractual requirements
Risk Mitigation & Procurement Control
- Identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks within the purchasing process for spare parts and repair services
- Escalate critical bottlenecks to customer management in a structured and timely manner
- Manage customer inquiries including material returns and warranty claims with full documentation and follow-through
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate closely with internal engineering, logistics, and programme management teams at Airbus Defence & Space
- Maintain accurate records using SAP and MS Office tools to support transparent, digital supply chain operations
- Coordinate with international suppliers and internal stakeholders across German and European aerospace networks
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed Master’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain / Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable discipline
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in planning, material procurement, customer service, and supply chain / logistics — this is mandatory
- Prior background in aerospace, defence, or technically complex manufacturing environments is a significant advantage
Essential Skills
- Specialized knowledge of MS Office and SAP is absolutely required — candidates without these will not be considered
- Fluency in both German and English is essential for day-to-day customer and supplier communication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple orders and customer accounts simultaneously
- Proven capability to work under pressure within safety-critical, deadline-driven aerospace environments
