Position Overview

As an Agronomist with this leading UK agricultural services organisation, you will provide expert agronomic advice to growers across England, building a diverse and loyal client base. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow your own agronomy portfolio and dedicated client base over time

Expert Agronomic Advisory

  • Deliver tailored, professional agronomic advice based on each farm’s unique needs and cropping plans
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, regulations, and emerging agronomy practices
  • Support growers in improving yields, reducing inputs, and achieving sustainable farming outcomes
  • Contribute to the growth and reputation of the organisation through consistently high-quality advice

Digital Farming Support

  • Support the organisation’s digital farming initiatives and help growers adopt new technology solutions

Internal Collaboration & Reporting

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams across the organisation’s UK depot network

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience in agronomy or agricultural advisory roles within the UK farming sector
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with farmers and agri-business stakeholders
  • Track record of working independently and managing your own workload and client base

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both farmers and business contacts
  • Self-motivated with genuine passion for agronomy and the future of UK farming
  • Willingness to travel regularly across your assigned territory across England
  • Full clean UK driving licence — this is essential for the role
