Position Overview
The Quality Operations Coach at Panda Retail Riyadh plays a critical role in safeguarding product quality and food safety compliance across the company’s retail stores, central bakery, and fresh vendor facilities. You will execute quality coaching programs, manage supplier audit initiatives, handle non-compliance reports, oversee pest control and hygiene programs, and build team capability through targeted training. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a seasoned food safety professional.

Key Responsibilities
Product Quality Coach Program
- Execute Product Quality Coach Programs for Panda’s retail stores, facilities, and omnichannel operations to ensure highest product quality standards are consistently met
- Implement quality coaching visit plans to support improvement actions across all assigned locations
- Prepare detailed non-compliance reports and communicate findings to concerned departments, following up until all raised issues are fully resolved and closed
Suppliers Quality Management — Supplier Audit Program
- Conduct supplier quality audit programs for private label food and non-food vendors, verifying compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Audit fresh category suppliers including fresh meat, chilled meat, produce, and deli to protect customers from potential food safety hazards
- Report all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to relevant departments and follow up until all NCRs are effectively closed with corrective actions
Customer Complaints, NCR & Recall Management
- Investigate customer complaints and NCRs thoroughly, analyzing collected data and presenting findings to the Quality Operations Regional Manager
- Complete all required forms including complaint investigation forms and communicate updates to the Operations Regional Manager for timely resolution
- Support product recall processes by providing accurate investigation data and corrective action recommendations
Pest Control & Hygiene Program
- Monitor pest control and hygiene service activities at all assigned retail stores and facilities to ensure regulatory compliance
- Follow up and escalate issues related to pest control and hygiene program activities to maintain a safe and clean retail environment
People Development & Training
- Contribute to developing quality training materials tailored to retail operations, food safety standards, and compliance requirements
- Conduct training sessions for all targeted employees to improve their knowledge, capability, and performance standards in food safety and quality
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Food Science, Microbiology, Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or any relevant field
- Certified Lead Auditor certification is preferred and highly advantageous
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience with at least 3 years in a dedicated audit and quality management position
- Solid knowledge in quality management systems and supplier audit programs
- Hands-on experience in food safety and hygiene across manufacturing, retail, or hospitality environments
Technical Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of local and international food safety standards including HACCP, ISO, AIB, and BRC
- Familiarity with Saudi regulatory authorities’ standard requirements for food safety and retail compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
