Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Equipment Control
- Control the inventory of all equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware
- Manage inventory count, loss, and breakage report production
Team Management & Training
- Manage the stewarding team to ensure a clean and safe working environment for the F&B team
- Fully train the team on chemical handling, dish washing machine operation, and kitchen equipment cleaning
- Motivate the stewarding team to deliver successful performance across all duties
Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
- Explain and enforce recycling and garbage disposal procedures
- Ensure HACCP practices are performed daily to comply with government and corporate F&B standards
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- Suitable amount of experience in stewarding operations
- Previous experience in stewarding at a similar level or Assistant Chief Steward level
Essential Skills
- Passion for leadership and teamwork
- Computer skills to manage inventory count, loss, and breakage report production
- HACCP Certificate holder
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures
