Position Overview
This Store Buyer role involves purchasing quality goods and materials at the best available price, building and maintaining good supplier relationships, and processing purchase requests and order follow-ups. You will receive and inspect goods against purchase orders and delivery documents, report and resolve discrepancies, maintain accurate receiving records and inventory in the system, and ensure all food deliveries comply with Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Purchase quality goods and materials at the best available price
- Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers
- Process purchase requests and follow up on orders
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock when required
Receiving & Quality Control
- Receive and inspect goods to ensure they match purchase orders and delivery documents
- Report and resolve any quantity, quality, or price discrepancies
- Return damaged or incorrect items to suppliers
- Ensure all food deliveries comply with Food Safety Management System (FSMS) requirements
Documentation & Coordination
- Update receiving records and inventory in the system
- Prepare daily receiving reports and maintain proper documentation
- Coordinate with departments to deliver received goods
- Keep the receiving and storage areas clean and organized
Inventory Control
- Perform stock counts and assist with inventory control
- Carry out other duties assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Supervisor
