Key Responsibilities
Quality Control Team Management
- Effectively and efficiently manage the Quality Control team at the Almarai Seafood Processing Plant in Rabigh
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage laboratory and QC professionals across the plant
- Coordinate cross-functional quality activities to ensure consistent and reliable QC outcomes
Latest Laboratory Techniques & Technology Adoption
- Ensure all the latest techniques and best practices in the food and seafood laboratory field are introduced and adopted across the team
- Stay current with evolving industry standards, testing methodologies, and quality frameworks relevant to fish and seafood processing
- Lead the implementation of updated laboratory procedures and equipment capabilities
Continual Improvement & Project Delivery
- Engage and apply principles of continual improvement across all quality and laboratory operations
- Deliver results against objectives through cross-functional project management and stakeholder coordination
- Track and report quality performance metrics to support operational decision-making and senior management reporting
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science (Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related discipline)
Experience Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in a seafood processing plant industry or similar food processing environment
- A proven track record of delivering results against objectives and managing projects requiring cross-functional approaches
