Position Overview
This Production Manager – Food Manufacturing role based in Dubai Free Zone covers end-to-end factory leadership across a nuts, pistachio, and dried fruits manufacturing operation. You will lead production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, warehouse, and administrative functions, ensure on-time and in-full delivery against customer orders, drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives, lead Oracle ERP implementation, and maintain full compliance with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Factory Operations Leadership
- Lead and manage all factory operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Administration
- Ensure production plans and customer orders are delivered on time and in full
- Supervise, coach, and develop supervisors, department heads, and factory employees
- Coordinate activities across all departments to maximize operational effectiveness
Food Safety, Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
- Maintain product traceability, audit readiness, and full regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement KPIs to improve productivity, quality, and customer service levels
Continuous Improvement & Cost Management
- Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost-reduction initiatives across the plant
- Monitor factory productivity, efficiency, and overall operational performance
- Monitor operating budgets, manufacturing costs, and financial performance indicators
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction through scrap management and process optimization
ERP, Inventory & Equipment Management
- Lead Oracle ERP implementation and ensure accurate operational reporting and data integrity
- Manage inventory, raw materials, packaging materials, and factory resources effectively
- Ensure equipment reliability, preventive maintenance schedules, and minimal production downtime
New Product Development Support
- Support new product introductions and process optimization projects across the facility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during new product trials and launches
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8–10 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Minimum 7 years of production management experience specifically in food manufacturing – nuts sector
- Strong experience in food manufacturing, preferably nuts, pistachio, dried fruits, confectionery, or FMCG
- Proven experience managing large factory teams and multiple departments
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle ERP
Language Requirements
- English – Mandatory
- Turkish – Highly Recommended
- Italian – Highly Recommended
- Arabic – Advantageous
Essential Skills
