Position Overview
The Finance Executive at KodeKloud’s Dubai UAE entity is a key operational finance role responsible for the smooth running of all day-to-day financial operations — from accurate transaction recording and accounts payable and receivable management, to payroll support, month-end and year-end close activities, and UAE regulatory compliance including VAT, Corporate Tax, work permits, and employment documentation. You will maintain compliance trackers, liaise with external consultants and government authorities, prepare management reports, support audits, and collaborate with global cross-functional teams — all within a fast-paced, fully remote-first environment where ownership, accuracy, and accountability are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Accounting
- Lead the finance operations for the UAE entity while actively supporting the wider Group Finance function across KodeKloud’s multiple global entities
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and maintained in strict accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities — including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting — to tight deadlines
- Maintain accurate, organized accounting records and ensure the ongoing integrity and completeness of all financial data across the UAE entity
Accounts Payable, Receivable & Payroll
- Manage all payment processing activities — including vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, and intercompany transactions — accurately and within established timelines
- Support payroll processing and ensure all payroll-related transactions, deductions, and employee claims are handled correctly and confidentially
- Maintain appropriate, well-organized documentation to fully support all financial transactions for audit and compliance purposes
- Actively manage accounts receivable follow-ups and accounts payable aging to ensure healthy cash flow management across the UAE entity
UAE Compliance & Governance
- Take full ownership of all finance-related compliance matters for the UAE entity — ensuring every statutory and regulatory obligation is fulfilled accurately and on time without exception
- Monitor and manage all compliance deadlines including UAE Corporate Tax, VAT filings, work permits, employment documentation, trade licences, insurance renewals, and other applicable regulatory requirements
- Maintain up-to-date compliance trackers and proactively identify, escalate, and resolve potential compliance risks well before deadlines are reached
- Liaise professionally with external consultants, UAE government authorities, and internal global stakeholders on all compliance-related matters as required
- Ensure all finance processes comply with UAE-specific accounting regulations and internal company policies at all times
Reporting, Analysis & Audit Support
- Prepare accurate recurring financial reports, management schedules, and supporting documentation for senior leadership review on a regular basis
- Analyze financial information, identify discrepancies or emerging trends, and proactively flag areas requiring management attention or follow-up action
- Support statutory and internal audits by preparing documentation, responding to auditor queries, and ensuring all audit evidence is readily accessible and accurate
- Contribute to finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the UAE entity’s finance function
Business Partnership & Process Improvement
- Collaborate professionally with cross-functional teams across the global KodeKloud organization to resolve finance-related queries, obtain supporting information, and drive timely financial closure
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders — including vendors, government authorities, and external consultants
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve finance processes, increase automation, and enhance overall operational efficiency within the UAE finance function
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience Requirements
- 2–3 years of solid, hands-on experience in accounting or finance operations — ideally with exposure to a multi-entity or international business environment
- Strong accounting fundamentals with a thorough understanding of day-to-day finance operations — AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software and advanced competence in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial analysis and reporting
