 Position Overview
This Warehouse Team Leader role involves directing warehouse employees in proper storage, inventory management, and goods handling within specified productivity and quality standards. You will support administration requirements including documentation and billing, ensure material handling equipment is properly maintained, drive continuous improvement, plan and execute stock counts and internal audits, and act as the contact person for customer enquiries and complaints.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Daily Operations
- Responsible for all day-to-day planning, operations, communication, and problem-solving within the team
- Direct warehouse employees in proper storage, inventory management, and handling of goods
- Support administration requirements such as documentation, billing, and reporting
Equipment, Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure material handling equipment (MHE) and warehouse tools are maintained and managed appropriately
- Maintain a Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) focus
- Ensure health and safety standards are communicated and followed
- Recommend measures to improve service quality and staff/equipment performance
Reporting, Audits & Customer Service
- Ensure warehouse reporting requirements are met daily and communicated to stakeholders
- Plan and execute stock counts and internal audits daily, weekly, and monthly for inventory accuracy
- Serve as the contact person for customer enquiries and complaints
 Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in warehousing
- Knowledge of safety and legal documentation processes for warehousing activities
Essential Skills
- Competent knowledge of warehouse management systems and email systems
- Proven Microsoft Office skills (e.g., Vlookup, ratios, charts, presentations)
- Professional communication in English at a competent level, both verbal and written
