Position Overview
This Team Lead Production & Logistics role involves ensuring high quality in equipment and sowing preparation processes across various crop types together with a team of approximately 20 employees. You will provide disciplinary leadership, support your team with resources including staff, machinery, and materials, encourage continuous process improvement, and collaborate closely with the Elite Seed Warehouse leadership team and stakeholders from R&D and the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Ensure high quality in equipment and sowing preparation processes across various crop types
- Provide disciplinary leadership of your team of approximately 20 employees
- Support the team in day-to-day operations with expertise and experience
Resource Management & Process Improvement
- Provide your team with necessary resources — staff, machinery, and materials
- Encourage continuous improvement of processes and tools using flat hierarchies and technical know-how
- Work closely with stakeholders from R&D and the Business Unit
Cross-Functional Leadership Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with the leadership team of the Elite Seed Warehouse
- Act as one leadership unit, allocate resources optimally, and leverage synergies
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Completed vocational training with an additional master craftsman qualification, or a degree in business administration, agriculture, mechanical engineering, or a comparable subject
Experience Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in an industrial company, ideally in logistics or a “blue collar” environment
- Leadership experience is a plus
- Sound knowledge of business-related topics and familiarity with Microsoft Office
Essential Skills
- Passion for technology as a key to continuous improvement
- Confidence making clear decisions with open, honest, and respectful communication
- Comfortable handling conflict and mistakes with transparency
- Business-fluent German and fluent English
- Willingness to travel occasionally, nationally and internationally (approx. 10%)
