Position Overview
The Farm Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Wasco, CA, responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, including supervising field crews, scheduling and monitoring planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvest activities, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Farm Supervisor coordinates with management on production plans, tracks input usage, maintains accurate records, and reports on crop progress and yield expectations, while also training team members and supporting communication between the farm, office staff, and clients.

Production Planning & Reporting
- Coordinate with management on production plans and operational objectives
- Track input usage and maintain accurate operational records
- Report on crop progress and yield expectations to management and clients
Equipment & Vendor Coordination
- Monitor equipment and facilities, identifying maintenance needs as they arise
- Work with service providers and vendors as required to support farm operations
- Ensure equipment and facilities remain in safe, operational condition
Training, Compliance & Communication
- Train team members on farm operations, safety, and quality expectations
- Enforce compliance with regulatory requirements across all farm activities
- Support communication between the farm, office staff, and clients to meet operational and financial objectives
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, or a related field preferred
Experience Requirements
- Experience supervising farm operations, including scheduling field activities, managing crews, and overseeing crop production
- Previous experience in commercial farming or agricultural management; orchard or row-crop experience is beneficial
Essential Skills
