Position Overview
As Application Manager, you are responsible for running central, business-critical applications such as document management, HR and portal systems on Linux. You analyse faults in 3rd-level support, fix errors and develop ways to improve. You watch the stability of server-based applications, install software updates and security patches, and install, test and assess new versions. You write technical concepts, keep system documentation current, coordinate external service providers and work closely with other business units and IT teams.
Why This Role Matters: Stable applications keep a company running, and this role puts you at the centre of that work. A published salary range, a flexible location and an academy are rare in IT operations ads, and the work offers room to shape processes, not only to keep systems up.
