 Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Civil Cost Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in building construction projects and a strong background in project cost control within the UAE, with hands-on expertise in quantity take-offs, BOQs, budgeting, ERP systems, and monthly cost reporting.

 Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Cost Planning

  • Prepare and maintain project budgets and cost plans
  • Review subcontract costs, comparison sheets, and budget revisions

Quantity Take-Offs & Documentation

  • Perform quantity take-offs from construction drawings and BOQs
  • Prepare and process MRFs, MTVs, BOQs, and other cost-related documents through the ERP system
  • Maintain accurate project cost records and documentation

Cost Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor project costs, quantities, and material consumption against approved budgets
  • Prepare monthly cost control reports, including cost analysis and profit/loss reconciliation

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Coordinate with Procurement, Commercial, and Project teams to support cost control activities
  • Support subcontract cost review and comparison across active projects

Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in cost control for building construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQs, budgeting, and cost reporting

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (ePromis, AIS, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
  • Experience with CCS Candy is highly preferred; knowledge of Primavera P6 is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
