Position Overview
As a Claims Payment Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of healthcare claims payments, supporting providers, payers, and clients across the Allianz Partners network. You will manage critical payment and reporting processes, process provider payments and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), reconcile financial transactions, and support monthly account reconciliations and journal entry postings within a fast-paced, technology-driven finance operation.

Key Responsibilities
Claims Payment Processing
- Prepare and send processed claims reports to payers within agreed turnaround times
- Process provider payments and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) accurately and on schedule
- Ensure all accounting deadlines and reporting requirements are met consistently
Financial Reconciliation & Reporting
- Record and reconcile financial transactions while maintaining appropriate supporting documentation
- Support monthly account reconciliations and journal entry postings
- Monitor transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls
Discrepancy Resolution & Compliance
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain organized financial records and provide accurate information when required
- Work effectively within an AI, data analytics, and cloud-based tools environment, following governance and ethical standards
Stakeholder Communication
- Build professional relationships with internal stakeholders, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and clients
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Communicate clearly to support smooth claims and payment operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance operations, claims payments, or transaction processing
- Experience within a TPA, insurance environment, healthcare provider, hospital, medical center, or BPO operation is highly valued
- Experience using accounting or financial management systems is preferred
Essential Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high transaction volumes accurately
- Comfortable working with digital tools, reporting systems, and technology-driven processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent time-management capabilities
