Position Overview
This n8n Developer role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated workflows that streamline operations across the organization. You will build custom nodes using JavaScript/TypeScript, integrate systems via REST, GraphQL, Webhooks and OAuth2, implement Generative AI–powered automations, collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into scalable workflows, and ensure every workflow is secure, stable, well-documented, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities
Workflow Automation Development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize n8n workflows to automate business processes
- Build custom nodes using JavaScript/TypeScript when required
- Ensure workflows are secure, stable, and optimized for performance
- Set up monitoring, logging, and error-handling systems within n8n
API & Systems Integration
- Integrate systems via APIs including REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, and OAuth2
- Handle JSON data and authentication protocols across multiple platforms
- Develop custom SaaS integrations tailored to business needs
- Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Generative AI Automation
- Implement Gen AI–powered automations using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and similar tools
- Build AI-based automation for text generation, summarization, classification, and chat workflows
- Apply Python where needed for AI models or external scripting
- Stay current with Generative AI capabilities including Google Gemini and HuggingFace
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into scalable workflows
- Maintain clear documentation for workflows, integrations, and system logic
- Troubleshoot automation issues and provide timely resolutions
- Manage multiple projects independently while meeting delivery timelines
Deployment & Compliance
- Support deployment, cloud setup, versioning, and updates for the n8n environment
- Deploy solutions using Docker and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Ensure compliance with data protection and security policies
- Maintain version control discipline using Git/GitHub
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience with n8n or similar automation tools (Make, Zapier, etc.)
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills for custom logic and node development
- Experience with REST APIs, authentication protocols, and JSON data handling
- Understanding of databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Experience deploying solutions using Docker and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure)
AI & Advanced Experience
- Experience integrating Generative AI (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, HuggingFace)
- Ability to build AI-based automation such as text generation, summarization, and chat workflows
- Knowledge of Python for AI models or external scripts is a plus
- Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub) and custom SaaS integrations
