The Dining Attendant will assist with preparing and maintaining dining areas, welcoming guests, setting and clearing tables, and ensuring a comfortable and positive dining experience.

Position Overview
This Dining Attendant role involves welcoming and assisting guests in a friendly, professional manner, preparing dining areas, tables, and service stations before service, and maintaining knowledge of menu items, specials, and allergens. You will support opening and closing duties, assist with inventory and replenishment of dining supplies, and support special events, banquets, and catering functions when required.

Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Dining Area Preparation
- Welcome and assist guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
- Prepare dining areas, tables, chairs, service stations, and buffet areas before service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, promotions, and allergens
Operations & Inventory Support
- Support opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, and table setup
- Assist with inventory and replenishment of dining supplies, condiments, and service items
- Follow restaurant policies, food safety standards, and workplace safety requirements
Events & Standards Compliance
- Support special events, banquets, conferences, and catering functions when required
- Maintain proper personal grooming and professional appearance
- Perform other dining, restaurant, and hospitality duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred
Experience Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dining Attendant, Restaurant Attendant, Food Service Attendant, Waiter, or Waitress preferred
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, café, resort, or catering company is an advantage
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of restaurant and food and beverage service procedures
- Understanding of table setting, table service, and food presentation
- Ability to work effectively as part of a food and beverage team
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, evenings, and public holidays
