Position Overview
This Farm Hand role at Parker Jessen Farms is a full-time, on-site position in Oshkosh, NE. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with livestock feeding, care, and handling, supporting crop production activities such as planting, irrigating, and harvesting, and operating or helping maintain farm equipment and tools. You will also help with general farm maintenance including fencing, cleaning facilities, and maintaining grounds, while working outdoors in varying weather conditions and following safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Livestock Care & Handling
- Assist with livestock feeding, care, and handling
- Support safe and responsible animal handling practices
Crop Production Support
- Support crop production activities such as planting, irrigating, and harvesting
- Assist with field preparation, crop monitoring, and post-harvest handling
Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Operate or help maintain farm equipment and tools
- Assist with routine maintenance and basic repairs on machinery
General Farm Maintenance
- Help with general farm maintenance including fencing and cleaning facilities
- Maintain grounds and support a safe, organized farm environment
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions while following safety guidelines

Qualifications & Requirements
Experience & Interest
- Experience or strong interest in working with livestock, including basic animal care and safe handling
- Familiarity with harvesting processes and seasonal farm work is a plus
