Position Overview
The Food and Beverage Manager at Saadiyat Beach Club is a dynamic leadership role responsible for managing all F&B operations within one of Abu Dhabi’s most exclusive luxury beach destinations. You will oversee dining experiences across multiple outlets — poolside, beachfront, restaurants, and bars — while driving team performance, controlling costs, and delivering outstanding guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
F&B Operations Management
- Manage all day-to-day food and beverage operations across the beach club to the highest standards
- Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house areas including restaurants, bars, poolside, and beachfront service
- Maintain efficiency, professionalism, and diplomacy in all F&B matters
- Uphold the beach club’s brand image and five-star reputation consistently
Financial Control & Revenue Growth
- Control costs across all F&B outlets within budgeted guidelines
- Assist management in purchasing, maintaining effective profit and loss controls
- Monitor labor costs following demand patterns and budget requirements
- Develop ideas and drive department sales to improve overall F&B productivity
Menu Design & Guest Experience
- Design exceptional menus and purchase quality goods aligned with luxury standards
- Identify guest needs and respond proactively to all concerns and feedback
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service at all times
- Coordinate special promotions and private events with full administrative support
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead the F&B team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
- Establish KPIs, targets, schedules, policies, and procedures for all team members
- Foster an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
- Assist outlet managers in monitoring tasks and developing independent leadership skills
Compliance & Cross-Department Relations
- Comply fully with all health, safety regulations, and HACCP standards
- Build solid working relationships with other department managers across the property
- Carry out efficient leadership using appraisals and performance management tools
- Deputize in the absence of the Director of Food and Beverage when required
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Requirements
- College or University Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Professional certifications in F&B management are an advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Food and Beverage Manager role
- Previous experience in the Middle East hospitality market is highly preferred
- Proven track record in managing multi-outlet F&B operations in a luxury setting
Essential Skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office, Restaurant Management Software, and POS systems
- Strong communication and leadership skills with ability to manage diverse teams
- Ability to spot and resolve operational problems efficiently under pressure
- Up to date with current food and beverage trends and industry best practices
- Guest-oriented mindset with a strong service culture and commercial awareness
